Colitis Cure

Colitis cure

Inflammatory Crohn bowel disease can theoretically reach all segments of the digestive tract, but its preferred locations are the ileum (terminal part of the small intestine) and colon. The rectum is rarely affected. mIn most cases, a single intestinal segment is sick. But what is important is that when multiple segments are affected, they are separated by intervals unlike lesions of ulcerative colitis (UC). The lining of the bowel is edematous reached. During evolution, this edema of the wall will cause a decrease in intestinal diameter. An evolution to fibrosis, the source of stenosis (narrowing) may also occur. The disease is characterized by the presence of ulcers, more or less broad, more or less deep, which can penetrate the entire wall causing abscesses and fistulas.

Colitis signs of disease

This disease affects both sexes and usually appears between 20 and 40 years. In its typical form, the beginning is slow and insidious. Episodic diarrhea and vague abdominal pain summarize the symptoms for months or years. The fixed and continuous pain in the right iliac fossa or atypical paroxysm are associated. The weight loss, fever are other important symptoms. The signs vary depending on the topography of lesions. The examination may find anal lesions or a tender mass in the right iliac fossa. In children, retardation growth is a suggestive symptom.
